The President, David L Connell, is a veteran of
over thirty years experience in serving exporters in the region of South
Western Ontario. During that period Mr. Connell has held the positions of
Traffic Manager for a manufacturer with a
US
market and Sales Executive for two major customs brokers. He has developed a
significant amount of knowledge, experience and service network in this area.
David L Connell is also a graduate of the Canadian
Institute
of
Traffic
and Transportation (C.I.T.T.), achieving a Business Administration Major and
Human Relations Minor. Mr. Connell has received the C.I.T.T. “Quarter
Century Club” certificate for his longevity as an active member of the
organization.
The focus of D L Connell Enterprises is
three fold: 1) support of the U.S. Homeland Security C-TPAT program, 2)
U.S.
and Canadian customs brokerage services and 3) the training of traffic/customs
department personnel on basic
US
customs related issues. Although D L Connell Enterprises provide the C-TPAT
and PIP security programs as a service provider they can be handled in conjunction
with other qualified consulting organizations such as custom brokers or other
consultants. The U.S and Canada customs related services
are available with the intent of providing competitive pricing and
knowledgeable staff in a market that is constantly evolving in the face of
ever increasing competition and changing rules and regulations. For more

C-TPAT
and PIP SUPPORT SERVICES
D L Connell Enterprises
offers the benefit of having worked with several exporters on the U.S. C-TPAT
security program. The Canadian security program, PIP, is very similar in the
information required, but the Security Profile format is different. However,
the successful application in either program will prepare the applicant for

This short training program covers a wide variety of topics pertaining
specifically to the clearance of shipments into the
U.S.A.
The training program is ideal for new hires working in a traffic department,
distribution center and other shipping related areas. It can also be used to
up-grade experienced personnel considering the ever evolving nature of the US
Customs and Border Protections rules, regulations and circumstances.
